The Fasteners Black Book has a lot of great information about the different types of screws, nails and fasteners. It is good that the book comes with the thread pitch identification gage also.

Really useful for a beginner such as myself but I am sure even a professional will find this book an absolute must in his/hers workshop. I have found a lot of useful information and the included tool was used already just a day i received the book as a birthday gift. Now I am intrigued to find out what the other Black Books are all about.

Small size, pages are coated so they can be cleaned if handled with dirty hands. Very easy to find the information needed and to me it seems everything is covered.

One needs to be a very miserable person to find something to complain about... it's a great reference/tool to have in any workshop.. Thank you

Really useful, I grabbed the included gauge plate two days after the book arrived to identify a mongrel thread and correct a problem with the thread. Paid for itself already.
