How to Use

Step 1 // Size the Bolt Thread Diameter using the Gage Holes

Example: Thread Diameter = 9/16"

Step 2 // Mate the Bolt Threads up against the Gage Threads
to determine the Threads per Inch (tpi) or Pitch (mm)

..... Threads per Inch = 18 tpi

Step 3 // To Identify the Thread Size, refer to the chart on the reverse
side of gage or back cover of the Fastener Black Book

..... if the known values are:

9/16" & 18 tpi
