I did have one of these books years ago

An awesome ready reference book that gets plenty of use

The book contains all the information you would ever want on your fasterners, i use it nearly every week, it pairs nicely with the engineering blackbook

Needs a couple more notes pages i think.

This is a highly detailed guide for every kind of fastener you could run across. I learn something new every time I reference it. Helps me with my job quite often

Pictured fastener types and all associated specs, easy to comprehend for a guy like me.

A lot of information in a small book. I reference it daily for myself and others that have questions.

Pages are tough seems hard to rip them. Looks like they clean easy if you get grease on them.

If anything, the metal binder could be a little bigger diameter.

I am impressed with the quality and completeness of those books.

The perfect size, usability, and a very useful Thread Pitch Identification Gage.

I miss a page marker.

Fasteners can slow a man down- this book helps speed things up!

Thread pitch gauge needs to go a size or two bigger

Contains about as much information on fasteners as one could hope to cram into a single pocket. Collects a lot of information on various fasteners, and saves me a significant amount of time hunting down the information (as well as pictures so I can show my techs what they're looking for).

Easily portable, includes a reasonably useful thread pitch identification gauge, includes references to relevant standards as well as descriptions in layman's terms

Not a great reference for aerospace work since it doesn't pull information from military specs and other similar sources used in that field. Granted, there isn't any room to squeeze that in. Information on mil spec fasteners and various aerospace and military spec treatments and manufacturing techniques could probably fill an entire black book by itself, though.
